CTC Global Names Bill Webb Vice President Engineering

IRVINE, Calif.--Today, CTC Global announced that Bill Webb has been named as its Vice President, Engineering. In this newly created position, Mr. Webb is responsible for CTC's design, product development, manufacturing process support and internal and external testing and certification programs. Mr. Webb will also serve as a member of CTC's senior management team, reporting to J.D. Sitton, CTC's Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining CTC as its manager of technology support, Mr. Webb was recognized as a Technical Fellow in his role as technical service engineer for Cytec Engineering Materials. During his years at Cytec, Mr. Webb specialized in BMI tooling materials, where he pioneered the process of machining composite laminates to achieve tight tolerances in support of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner development effort. Webb has worked on development programs for multiple industry-leading flight and marine platforms involving extensive use of composite materials.

Mr. Webb holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an Associate of Physics degree from Dalton College (Georgia).
